Teaching is fundamentally the most rewarding career. It provides an opportunity for continual learning, growth and development. One of my hopes as an educator is to instill a love of learning in our students as I share my own passion for learning and experiences with them. My goal is to help our students become global learners; learners for life.

Bonjour! My name is Joumana Haddad and I am a Heritage speaker from Beirut Lebanon, and French and Arabic are my native languages. I graduated from the American University of Beirut with a B.A. in Psychology and a certification in Education. When I moved to Atlanta GA, I pursued my education and enrolled in the Masters Program in French language. I am also certified by the GACE (Georgia Assessment for the Certification of Educators) to instruct the French Language. In addition, I have the OPT and WPT certification to teach Arabic. This certificate is awarded by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. In 2015, I obtained my certification as a Professional Interpreter in Education from the University of Georgia in English, French and Arabic. I am the school's BCL (bilingual community liaison), and Arabic and French teacher. Merci!
